Fall seems to be a very busy season for the Hansen household. The kids are active in sports and Josh and I have many social events including tailgating for our favorite team...GO CYCLONES!
Most recently I participated in the Great Urban Race in Minneapolis with some great friends. If you haven't experienced this race or any other races by Red Frog Events LLC you have to check this one out. Teams dress up and compete in a race similar to the TV show Amazing Race. Our team theme: Biker Babes. Oh yea!
Team Biker Babes and CafeTeria Choppers ready to start the race.
Our costumes were complete with vinyl vests.
We all know you can't be a biker babe without the "faux" leather.
Marcy and I ready to go.
At the Soap Factory.
Returning to High School and testing our math skillz.
I'm jumping off a 500 ft. platform onto a large pillow.
(Okay, it was only like 18 ft.)
Completing the Miller 64 puzzle.
We successfully completed all the clues and tasks!
We are official Great Urban Race finishers.
Check here to see how we finished:
(a little hint: look around number 59 and 60)
The next weekend I traded in my faux leather vest for the real thing and joined the Rubber Knife Gang for a ride through the countryside. If you haven't been on a Harley, it is truly an unforgettable experience.
This time we are "real" biker babes.
Hot biker chicks!
I've been working on some projects around the house and I'm excited to show you all how they turn out. Stay tuned...
What are you doing this fall to get your motor running? Any exciting projects you are working on?
