I always have a project in mind...

I would really like to have an upholstered square ottoman in my living room.  Man, oh man they are hard to find, and EXPENSIVE.  I am toying with the idea of making my own.  I haven't informed the hubby yet but I've read how to DIY your own tufted ottoman.  It can't be that hard, right?

Here is my inspiration. I have a feeling that finding the "right" upholstery will be the major challenge.
I'm guessing I will need wood, foam, fabric, glue gun, screws and a staple gun.  Oh, probably a drill too.

I think my first research will be the fabric.  Where, oh where can I find a good fabric store in Iowa?

And the research begins...
