Cousins on Christmas Eve The Christmas holiday is over some how this year it came and went so fast. The kids had a blast.  Christmas Eve was spent at Dallas and Kim's house (Grandma and Grandpa Farm). We have a great prime rib feast, go to candlelight service and open presents. Kennady and Kenley had so much fun while Sawyer chased them around the house.  Which included screaming, giggles and some one getting hurt.  Every year we spend Christmas day at our home and I host.  The kids were up at 6:00am ready to open Santa presents, but we told them they couldn't open any until 7:30. Mom and dad needed sleep! Santa brought Sidney & Sawyer new bikes and Kennady got a Cinderella doll. Funny though, their favorite toys are the ones that were the cheapest. Well - on to the next holiday - New Years!  Josh and I are going out to dinner with friends, then an early bedtime.  We are taking the whole family to the Vikings vs. Bears game in Minneapolis ...

Jolly holiday lights

Kids make us  laugh. Sidney said she knows why some kids want to be pirates. According to her, pirates don't have to brush their teeth. Sawyer called a limo a limcusine.

We are trying our best.  I think the most creative things that Max has done is, playing cards, playing candyland, pulling a sleigh with toy horses, hanging from the Christmas tree with Woody and Jessie. I think those are pretty clever! Sidney is 9 and I keep thinking that she'll figure it all out. This morning she asked me if she could sleep in the living room on Christmas Eve night so she can peek at Santa. I told her no.  I like her still believing in Santa, it's really fun for the parents.  Sawyer wants a skateboard from Santa and we told him that Santa only buys "safe" gifts for kids.  We hope he isn't upset when he gets a new bike.
